Kowalenko Consulting Group (KCG) addresses environmental and real estate planning from a multi-disciplinary perspective with comprehensive solutions to environmental regulation, asbestos and lead control, and waste disposal. KCG environmental engineers, scientists, and planners perform Environmental Site Assessments, Phases I (historical land use research), II (sampling for suspected environmental contaminants), and III (remediation planning and oversight). KCG facilitates for each client a successful outcome to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) No Further Remediation (NFR) process.

KCG professional staff provide contract management expertise. Engineering and field staff conduct onsite field inspections for construction and renovation projects representing client interests. Responsibilities include construction oversight, document management, communication between architects, engineers, and client, scheduling and change orders reviews, and timely submittal of project documents.

KCG also provides environmental risk management as well as project management in remediation situations. Assignments include peer review of construction or environmental remediation efforts conducted by other entities or companies.
